Land reforms in Ukraine after 1991 led to the destruction of crop rotation.
From sowing areas were excluded perennial legumes, which accumulated more than 7t / ha in the soil of root residues with content of atmospheric nitrogen in it by more than 120 kg / ha fixed by rhizobia and creating of a powerful protective energy layer of soil. As the perennial legumes are the main source of vitamin feeds complete and solid forage for livestock, means that without them it would be destroyed in most localities, what would led to the cessation of organic fertilizer into the soil and would affect its fertility.
Intensive farming systems based on the application of chemicals and without planting perennial legumes destroy ecologically balanced system and convert it into an artificial soil abiotic environment – lifeless rock. In such circumstances, the biological cycle is limited to a minimum, and its role is replaced artificially introduced food in the form of fertilizers. The soil is converted into the substrate to transfer the plants fertilizer. By increasing yields, fertilizers give the appearance of being, masking the loss of natural soil fertility: destruction of humus, structure, violation of water, heat, air and redox conditions, reduction of erosion soil stability. Destructed soil, even after heavy rains dries up to a critical moisture after a few days.
Monoculture grain – one of the reasons for the depletion of soils, and their destruction, development of water and wind erosion and climate changes.
